Electro/post-rock duo MolaMola is going to release its debut album OceanHope on May 27, 2019. Rome, Italy based duo defines its music as gentle music, weaving subtle and dreamy atmospheres inspired by Kiasmos, Tycho, Moderat e Jon Hopkins. Despite the record being instrumental, OceanHope is based on a concept, as the band explain:
"Our will is to compose positive and danceable music, introspective yet light and easy. OceanHope is a concept about keeping close people and things we love, in spite of all the troubles of living. This is a message of hope, positivity and "presabbene", as people in Rome say to express a happy and relaxed mood."
