These releases served to cement this band well and truly being ones to watch and the band also enjoyed performances at the famous Y-Not and Isle Of Wight Festivals.

Kicking off the New Year Marseille showed no signs of slowing down, with the release of their hit single “Only Just Begun” which was picked up and played by Steve La Macq on BBC Radio 6 Music.

Marseille are now gearing up for the release of their latest single ‘Thinker’ amidst the height of their 10 day headline tour which sees them performing all over the country.

The new single “Thinker” is a truly beautiful ballad which will undoubtedly find its name amongst some of the greatest songs of all time. A heartfelt sweet song accompanied by divine strings, lyrics that literally speak to your heart and hooks that seem to have been created by masters of their craft. Marseille are showing that they have what it takes for their name to be up in lights amongst the most legendary of bands. They are proving that they are musicians at the top of their game with songs to set to define a generation.

Marseille lead singer and songwriter, Will Brown, has said of the new track:

“This song was initially written when I was only about 13 or 14. Joe saw potential in the song and insisted we bring it back into the light of day. I always saw the song about relationships until recently. I now see it as a song which talks about the loss of loved ones and all the things you want to say to them but can’t now they're gone”

‘Thinker’ received its debut radio premiere last weekend when it was played on BBC Introducing by Dean Jackson.
