Love Machine are back with a new release, a new line-up and a fresh breeze in garage and psychedelic rock! After the five guys from Düsseldorf retired to the studio at the end of 2018 for probably the most fruitful songwriting phase in the band's existence, and a fruitful collaboration with producer Patrick Stäudle, the 6 track EP Mirrors & Money will be released on Unique Records on October 11, 2019.

On Mirrors & Money the band shows themselves more versatile and daring than ever. While their predecessor Times To Come is still dominated by Westcoast Psychedelia, Mirrors & Money is much more complex and modern. Garage, Slacker and Soul now join the proven Kraut- and Psychedelic Rock of the band. Love Machine make the impossible mixture their own, without claiming to stay too long in one realm and to live up to the expectations there in the least. The five of them don't want to know anything more about genre boundaries and conventions.

The songwriting has grown and leaves the cosmic aspects behind. It dedicates itself to personal aspects, like erotically charged pizza obsessions and childhood memories of the first own budgie.

Musically Love Machine moves on Mirrors & Money between the worlds. The band creates a smooth transition from a porn grooving soul track like The Stripper to songs like Mirrors & Money or Birdy Buddy that sound like garage and punk rock. In between, with Dead Cats Dream the kind of psychedelic rock emerges in a further developed form, with which the band has already made a name for itself in recent years. The EP Opener Valentino and the last song Starshine also testify how Love Machine enrich their music with further elements and condense their own psych- and krautrock sound with influences from alternative rock.
