Kumar, the former lead vocalist of Jamaican Grammy-nominated reggae group Raging Fyah, has released a brand new video for his song "Dry Bones (Piano Version)." The sleek visuals for the melodic ballad premiered on Caribbean music, arts, and culture platform LargeUp.

"Dry Bones (Piano Version)" is a thoughtful acoustic take on Kumar's bouncy, saxophone-laced (courtesy of Jamaican maestro Dean Fraser) reggae track of the same name. Both cuts were produced by the artist himself, and appear on Kumar's critically-acclaimed Kulture Walk album. The 13-song collection was released earlier this month via partnership between the artist's own Kulture Walk Music Group, Dutch-based Musicmovements, and French-based Baco Records.

The "Dry Bones" video was shot by prolific director Fernando Hevia at Kumar's old school, Edna Manley College, and features the singer-songwriter/multi-instrumentalist at the captain's seat of a Steinway grand piano, delivering the heartfelt ballad to an empty auditorium. LargeUp noted the current state of world quarantine as an opportune time for Kumar to create an "intimate visual focused strictly on him and his piano."

"I've always loved the piano. It's very intimate, and the conversations I tend to have with her usually get emotional. 'Dry Bones' was written in this manner," said Kumar of his creative process.Co-producers on Kulture Walk include Robert Livingston (Big Yaad/Jamaica), Clive Hunt (Jamaica) and Walter Bonnot (Italy). Notis and Budwise productions also contributed to the album, which was mixed by Gregory Morris (Jamaica). Executive Producers include Kulture Walk Music Group and Musicmovements. Kulture Walk is distributed by Baco Records and is available on major digital platforms.

Kulture Walk is a mental, physical and spiritual movement set to music. Metaphysically, the exercise involves seeing the world brand new every day, exploring the fundamental nature of life, and reacting without bias. Creative people often possess an inner eye of consciousness, beginning at birth and remaining dynamic through life. Kulture Walk represents the musical revelations of a young man’s growth, beginning with his own cultural perspectives, and embellished by the diversity of the world around him. Kumar’s newalbum is a roadmap of exploration into the mind and soul of this uniquely talented singer-songwriter. He rediscovers life’s challenges through an expanded lens of psychic awareness. Kulture Walk is a pathway of revelations resulting in philosophical expressions of self-awareness. Kulture Walk is the culmination of two years of dedicated work, releasing inner voices and memories amplifying Kumar’s lyrical potency. Worldwide travels influenced by cultural traditions enhanced Kumar’s interpretations of life’s observations. Kulture Walk takes us through the insecurity of past mistakes, embracing an evolved grasp of reality. When one loses hope, start again by "Trading Places" and strive to "Live Another Day." To drive for wealth without the richness of mind and body is a psychological trap. No matter how much one accumulates financially or materially, we are all just "Grains of Sand" that eventually die, go back to earth, and feed the plants.
