British production duo Jungle are in the midst of a supercharged comeback ahead of the August 13th release of their ambitious and eagerly anticipated third album ‘Loving In Stereo’. Recent singles ‘Keep Moving’, ‘Talk About It’ and ‘Romeo’ have hit playlists at Radio 1, while simultaneously earning huge streaming support. Jungle are poised to drop into the upper reaches of charts all over the world, as their modernist disco-rooted sound introduces them to a huge new audience, building upon their previous accomplishments: a billion streams, two Top 10 albums, 750,000 album sales and a Mercury Prize nomination.

The next step in their triumphant return comes as they share their new single ‘Truth’. Propelled by a driving Motorik rhythm, a punk-infused energy and bright vocal harmonies, ‘Truth’ is a leap away from what we’ve come to expect from Jungle. As with their recent singles, the duo have hit the accelerator, whole-heartedly embraced joyous hooks, and channelled the fervour of their renowned live show. It’s different sonically but proves that Jungle are defined by a feeling rather than by genre..

The creative architects of their music, visual content and wider aesthetic, Jungle have raised the bar with the accompanying ‘Loving In Stereo’ visual album. The video for ‘Truth’ is the latest result of that vision. Shot in one continuous take, the camera pans from right-to-left revealing different characters in each room. As the video pans back-and-forth, the characters weave between rooms, the physicality of their movements escalating as their interaction grows. There’s also a beautiful symmetry to the way in which each dancer’s styling perfectly complements the room that they’re in.

J&T add “Truth is another moment on the record which came very quickly and naturally. It was the most different sounding thing we had made at the time, and for that reason couldn’t ignore it. For us it's about youth, love and trust. The feeling of finding someone who means more than anything else in the world.”

‘Truth’ adds to the narrative that the visual album is gradually unveiling with each video. Directors (J Lloyd and Charlie Di Placido) have excelled at balancing simple yet imaginative concepts with a dazzling flair. The entire visual album (14 videos) was shot over the course of five days, a demanding but liberating schedule that imbibes each video with unrestrained energy.
