Today, multi-hyphenate artist, director, and Grammy-nominated musician Jesse Boykins III (COLORS, Interview Magazine) is linking up with brand new Los Angeles duo Everything Liquid (Matt Ossentjuk and Diego Cuevas) on the soulful, jungle-inspired single “No Signal.” The track is the lead single off the self-titled Everything Liquid EP, out on StrataSonic Records on May 2.

On “No Signal,” Jesse Boykins III delivers a lyrical performance that distills his ethos as an artist—one rooted in emotional vulnerability, sensual truth, and the pursuit of connection in a disconnected world. Boykins wrote the song while watching the party scene from Romeo + Juliet on mute. “It solidified the emotions needed to directly express how magical a moment is if we are honest and truthful in it,” he notes. “It’s about the art of letting go on the dance floor with music as a guiding light to intimacy.”

The lyrics unfold like an intimate conversation between two people caught in the tension between desire and doubt. Lines like “Do you even listen when you say you love me?” and “Please don’t make me wait on your slow reveal” reflect Jesse’s gift for turning complex emotional dynamics into plainspoken poetry. His voice guides through the hazy, heart-pounding space that Everything Liquid creates.

For producers Matt Ossentjuk and Diego Cuevas, that space is everything. As Everything Liquid, the duo leans into the transportive, emotional side of drum & bass, where breakbeats and sub-bass are just as much for the soul as they are for the dancefloor. Diego is a Latin Grammy Award-winning producer, recognized for his work on Transformación by Beto Cuevas. Ossentjuk, known for his work with Anabel Englund as Gari Safari, has earned global tastemaker support—from Pete Tong, Danny Howard, Monki, and MistaJam on BBC Radio 1 to Jason Bentley on KCRW and Triple J in Australia.
