JDP are an unlikely pairing, and that’s the whole point. The project connects DANO, a 34-year-old Venezuelan truck driver based in North Carolina with a long punk background, and SADA, a 14-year-old singer from Cagua (Aragua State) who’s been chasing stages since childhood. A few interactions online turned into regular messages, then into songwriting, and eventually into a full album recorded despite the distance.

Pensamientos Abstractos De Un Alma Distorsionada (“Abstract Thoughts of a Distorted Soul”) leans into conceptual indie/alternative songwriting, built around abstract stories and lyrics that don’t always behave in a straight line. It’s also a snapshot of how they work together: DANO brings experience and structure, SADA brings instinct, youth, and a taste for pushing things harder when needed. They’re already working on a follow-up, and they’ve announced a Colombian tour for summer 2026, with the goal of finally sharing a stage in person.
