Today, J Balvin releases his highly anticipated sixth studio album Jose, now available everywhere. Named after the artist's legal name, Jose comprises Balvin's most personal effort to date and sees him going more in depth musically than ever. The new audio-visual album, presented with Dolby Atmos technology exclusively on Apple Music, arrives as J Balvin also officially lands his 31st #1 at Latin Airplay, tying him for the record ofmost #1's on Latin Airplay in history and cementing him as Latin music's biggest success story of the decade.

In addition, today J Balvin also reveals his 2022 North American tour dates in support of the newly released album. The 28-date run of shows kicks off on April 19th, 2022 in San Antonio and wraps on June 4th in Puerto Rico. Along the way, Balvin will hit Seattle, Las Vegas, Miami, New York and DC. Tickets go on sale at 12pm local time on Friday, September 17th and will be available for purchase at jbalvin.com. The 5-time Latin GRAMMY-winning artist is also slated to perform a run of upcoming shows beginning this month, to precede the live tour in 2022.

Jose arrives just on the heels of an eventful summer for the artist, following the release of chart-dominating singles "Qué Más Pues?" featuring Argentinian singer María Becerra, "Que Locura,"and "In Da Getto" featuring Skrillex. The Skrillex-assisted track reached the top spot on the Latin Airplay charts after a steady build up throughout the summer and outstanding receptions at Balvin's first live performances back at Baja Beach Festival and weekend one of his NEON Festival in Las Vegas, marking the artist's 31st #1 record. The LP also features Jhay Cortez, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny, Khalid, Tokischa, Zion & Lennox, Tainy and others.

This year, multiple singles that Balvin released saw a meteoric rise in popularity on TikTok and he received 9 nominations for the upcoming Billboard Latin Awards, including Composer of the Year and Artist of the Year. The Khalid-assisted single "Otra Noche Sin Ti" released at the top of the summer also reached #1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay and Latin Rhythm charts, contributing to Balvin's most #1s of any Latin artist.
