About the authors:
Chris Bianchi is President & CEO of CB Entertainment and LEGEND Recordings, which is partnered with Ingrooves/Universal. With two decades of experience in the music industry working as an artist, manager, and marketer, Chris started booking and playing local shows at the age of 15 while carrying on his passion for music in the national touring act FOREVER IN TERROR (Metal Blade Records).
After spending a good chunk of time touring across the US, he jumped into artist development and management full-time and has worked with artists such as BLOOD RUNS BLACK, Rex Brown (PANTERA), Zakk Wylde (OZZY OSBOURNE, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY) and Andy Biersack (BLACK VEIL BRIDES). His clients have nominated for two Grammy Awards and have sold over 25 million albums worldwide.
Chris has also secured multiple major label deals for artists and showcased talent at several festivals, including Vans Warped Tour, Rockstar Energy Mayhem Fest, SXSW, Rock Fest (WI), Chicago Open Air, and Dirtfest (MI). Having obtained a certificate from Harvard Business School, Chris mixes hands-on experience with his education to best assist his clients and operate his music ventures. He's also been featured in Forbes and Inc. magazines and is a member of The Recording Academy and Forbes Agency Council. Despite his accomplishments, Chris is very personable, down-to-earth, and willing to help, assist, and advise any band or artist.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing drums, working out, and spending time with his wife and son. He currently resides in Cleveland, Ohio.
William J. Metzger, Esq., is an entertainment attorney and President & CEO of Brick Row Entertainment Group and Affiant Records. A veteran of the United States Marine Corps and Operation Iraqi Freedom, William played guitar in the Marine Corps band and holds a certificate of recording arts from Musicians Institute, a bachelor’s degree in music from the University of North Texas, and a Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University.
His practice includes all areas of the entertainment industry, including but not limited to: music, film, electronic media, gaming, copyrights, and trademarks, etc. William's clients include Emmy Award-winning film producers, record labels, musicians, artist managers, industry executives, and entrepreneurs. He also manages bands and provides educational training through Brick Row Entertainment Group, LLC. and is in the process of signing acts with Affiant Records.
In his spare time, William enjoys playing guitar, attending concerts, and spending time with his wife. He currently resides in Dallas, Texas.
