Interstellar Recordings continues to lead from the front with a second volume of its Celestia series, a various artists collection that shows off the talents on its roster.

Jesabel kicks off with 'I Can’t Sleep', a hypnotic journey through cosmic soundscapes, where deep drums and ethereal pads merge into a cinematic late-night reverie. Jäger & Settow & Inner Mind's 'Keep' is equally majestic and meditative with otherworldly energy through layered synths, rolling percussion and an emotional progression. Heard Right & Kiholm then offer Timer, which is built on glowing textures and immersive rhythm while mixing progressive emotion with celestial atmosphere. Last but not least is Lost Prince with a bold, cinematic sound with haunting melodies that make ‘Clock' powerful yet mysterious.

Touching on the innerworkings of what makes the cut work on the dancefloor, Jesabel says, "This is one of the goosebump records for me. I wanted to create a moment within my sets. Hard-hitting kick, groove, catchy lead but, most importantly, a break that builds into the second drop super euphorically. Trying to create this is difficult, at times, but, in some senses, less is more—the vocal is simple yet effective! Fell in love with the process of making this one!"

Settow breaks down the meaning behidn their collab, explaining: "The lyrics reflect the idea that there are things in life that remain hidden, and that understanding everything is a personal journey that brings peace. Musically, the track combines hypnotic rhythms and emotive melodies to mirror this tension and release, creating an immersive experience that resonates both on the dancefloor and in introspective listening."

Amsterdam-based producer Heard Right elaborates on the vibe of his collab, stating: "Our collaborative single 'Timer' envelops the listener in a warm, atmospheric soundscape, blending delicate melodies with a subtle, hypnotic rhythm. It’s a reflective and immersive piece that explores the fleeting nature of a moment, leaving a lingering, melancholic beauty."

Copenhagen's Kiholm provides his own take on the cut, adding, "'Timer' began as a melody stuck in my head. I built a simple beat around it and sent it off to Heard Right, who instantly connected with its energy and took the track to the next level."

Lastly, the Scandinavian rising sensation Lost Prince closes out the package with a few words about his offering, saying, “This is how I believe hypnotic house should sound—lean, locked-in, and immersive.”

This is a treasure trove of sophisticated prog sounds from the genre-leading Interstellar Recordings.

The new 'Celestia Vol. 2' compilation EP is available on all platforms via Interstellar Recordings.
