Porcelain Dancer is back with Poison Cloud, the first single from the upcoming EP A Documentary About Nightmares, set for release in March.

Porcelain Dancer is the solo project of Yiannis D., an analog synthesizer engineer who turned his passion for music and gear into a creative journey. After spending years designing instruments and collaborating with musicians, he took an eight-year break from the scene. Having played as a bassist and synthesist in various bands, his continuous interaction with artists reignited his desire to create. The result was Porcelain Dancer, a project born from his deep connection to post-punk and goth music.

His first solo EP, A Documentary About Nightmares, was written in just a few weeks, shaped by intense late-night jam sessions and a raw need for expression. The process became a form of therapy, self-awareness, and personal rediscovery.

Poison Cloud, the first single from the EP, addresses the gradual loss of logical thinking, a consequence of impulsiveness and a distorted sense of reality shaped by societal expectations. The track combines deep basslines, melancholic synths, and a driving rhythm, channeling the essence of classic post-punk while delivering a modern, introspective edge.

Recorded at Fabrica Studio, the single will be supported by live performances in South America, including appearances at Gothic Carnival in Curitiba (March 1, 2025) and Madame Club in São Paulo (March 3, 2025).
