Continuing on their hot streak this year, House of Protection returned today with their next unrelenting single on Red Bull Records. “Fire” is the second track to arrive off their anticipated sophomore EP, Outrun You All, due on May 23. The song does its title justice, serving up thrashing guitars, high-pitched sirens, and emphatic lyrics fueled by a punk spirit. Next week, the band will unveil the official music video which rises to as high of a bar as the music does.

On the single, the band shares, “The goal with ‘Fire’ was to write something with as much infectious energy as possible. A song that could invoke as much dancing as it does moshing. It’s a hard balance to pull off. This has been the one new song we’ve played on tour before its release and it’s already become our favorite to jam live.”
Following their spring 2025 tour dates, House of Protection will return home to celebrate the release of Outrun You Allwith a special live underplay show at The Roxy in Los Angeles on May 24 (524) – their shared birthday and an emblem that appears on their merch and the EP’s intro track. This will be their second appearance in LA since their debut sold-out show at the Echoplex.
Earlier this year, House of Protection toured Australia for the first time with Bad Omens and Poppy, performing to over 25,000 new fans. Shortly thereafter, they appeared on Architects’ single, “Brain Dead” off their #1 UK Rock & Metal album, The Sky, The Earth, & All Between, with an adrenaline-inducing video attached. Next, they’ll reunite with both Poppy in April on her US tour, and Architects in October during their EU/UK run, sandwiching a slate of major festival plays in between including Download and Reading and Leeds in June.
Sought-after by some of the most influential collaborators across the scene, House of Protection has not so quietly become a tour de force. In less than a year, they’ve skyrocketed to nearly 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify where they earned a spot on the platform’s competitive “2025 Artists to Watch” roster. Their genre-spanning debut EP, GALORE, earned critical acclaim from the likes of The Guardian, Kerrang!, Revolver, and more, achieving Luminate chart positions at #14 on Current Hard Rock Albums and #15 on Alternative New Artist Albums. The momentum continues into this next project, at a pace that matches their boundless energy.
