I actually thought back to Hilary Duff’s debut album “Metamorphosis” and remember being so attached to this idea of evolution as a kid and how seeing her in a photo wearing wings inspired me then. Seems kind of silly now, but pop music really has shaped me, including that album, and the concept of going through a complete unexpected, but necessary, metamorphosis at this point in my life was something that I became inspired by.
