Critically acclaimed London collective SUN SILVA have released the video for their new single ‘Just The Romantic’.

It premiered with Clash as their Track Of The Day who described the single as an, "ultra-catchy return, with its buoyant Maccabees style chorus pitted against some distinctive, deeply original word play."

The video has been filmed entirely in 16mm and features the Hollywood actress Hannah John-Kamen (Ready Player One, Game Of Thrones, Black Mirror). The trippy psychedelic video finds the band transported into a mysterious nostalgic boudoir holding otherworldly powers of encompassing lust.

Regarding the creation of the video frontman Oscar Gormley says, “We met with the director Josha Eiffel who had a vision for the video which brought out the psychy, more arcane side of the song. It was filmed in 16mm to give it that nostalgic feel which we really love.

“After trips across London to have our faces moulded, to a mad day of filming at an abandoned underground station covered in clay, and a crazy amount of favours from some amazing people, we're delighted to share the video with you all.”

‘Just The Romantic’ has been receiving great support from Jack Saunders at Radio 1 and has also been added to the Radio X 'X-Posure' playlist. The single follows the release of ‘Sun Skin Air’ and their debut single ‘Blue Light’ last year. They also proved hits at radio with plays coming from Radio 1, Radio X and BBC Introducing.

SUN SILVA have also had great support from the indie tastemakers and gained praise from the likes of NME, DIY, Wonderland, Clash, Dork Magazine and many more. Making a huge statement on the live scene, SUN SILVA have sold out shows across London and also played in support of the likes of Jungle, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever and KAWALA.

They have played a host of festivals this year including The Great Escape, Dot To Dot, Live At Leeds, Hit The North and will also play Barn On The Farm. SUN SILVA have been quick to make a name for themselves as one of the most impressive new bands and are set to cement their status in 2019.
