Greta Van Fleet and Rosalía join the Rock Werchter 2019 bill

What do Greta Van Fleet and Rosalía have in common? They are supremely talented. They have won Grammy’s. They have a very bright musical future. They are both set to perform at Rock Werchter this summer. Greta Van Fleet - 3 brothers and a childhood friend from Michigan – specialise in authentic heavy blues rock. The foursome is extremely young and very ambitious. Their super-sized sound rocks, their blues rock is scorching in a live setting. Led Zeppelin and other rock heroes from the Seventies would love them. While Greta Van Fleet looks and sounds retro, they are equally contemporary. Their eight-song EP titled ‘From The Fires’ was awarded a Grammy for Best Rock Album. Move over, because here comes the new rock generation. Greta Van Fleet will perform on Sunday 30 June on the Main Stage.

That same day, Rosalía is set to perform in The Barn. Her album ‘El Mal Querer’ was one of the most anticipated albums of 2018. Flamenco for modern times. With beats, a compelling show and a strong visual accompaniment. Rosalía is revered in her home country, Spain, as well as outside of it. She dances, she sings. She writes songs, she produces. The single ‘Malamente’ earned Rosalía two Latin Grammy’s. Pitchfork named the accompanying video ‘Best Video of the year’.
