Ropes Of Night consist of five individuals that have been active in the musical underground for a long time in bands such as ATKA, VEGAS, MINUSMAN, BLACK WANDA etc, among them also ULTHA drummer Manuel Schaub.
The band comments the debut 7" EP: "These were the first songs we had written, so it seemed appropriate to record them first, too. What was intended as a demo recorded in our rehearsal room turned into aspontaneous two days at Goblin Sound Studio, where our friend Andy Rosczyk recorded, mixed and mastered these two songs in record time."
Ropes Of Night will record their debut full-length for Golden Antenna Records later this year with a release at the end of 2020.
On the signing the band has to say: "Before these songs were even recorded it was already a done deal that we will start working with German label Golden Antenna Records. We're incredibly proud to be part of this renown DIY label that released such amazing bands as FOTOCRIME, TIMELOST, RADARE, DIE! DIE! DIE!, ASCETIC, MASERATI etc. Not only will G.A. release our debut full-length record later this year but also these first two songs as a 7”."
