Emerging electro-pop artist Georgi is set to captivate listeners with her latest single, "That Night." This sultry, synth-driven track marks the latest glimpse into her highly anticipated debut album, ‘Love After Dark,’ which is slated for release later this year on her Bitch House Records imprint.

"That Night" is a hypnotic blend of pulsing rhythms and ethereal vocals, embodying the emotional intensity that has become Georgi’s signature sound. The single delves into the magic and mystery of fleeting moments, capturing the raw vulnerability of connection under the cover of darkness. Al P from MSTRKRFT co-produced and mixed the track, adding a polished, darkwave edge to its brooding synth melodies and pulsating beats.

“That Night " was a song I created with my friend Sanjay Henry when I lived in New York. I wanted to make something dark and sexy but filled with heartbreak, Georgi says. I started my career as a DJ in 2021, living in New York City. I often traveled to other major cities for gigs, and I noticed a significant gap in the electronic dance space. Most 'EDM' festivals have a stage for house music, techno, trance, and bass. But the music that inspired me was synth music. The obvious pioneer of this sound is Kraftwerk. I noticed synth music and EBM specifically shaped what we call techno today. And I thought, why isn’t there a 'synth' stage? This thought has inspired a lot of my ideas for my album today. I was an angry 21-year-old DJ who couldn’t play what I wanted. A lot is changing years later, and it is exciting to see. 'That Night' is what I call a darkwave-inspired dance track with elements of retrowave. It is one of my more dance-oriented tracks. I am excited to eventually share the entire album.”

AL P adds, “Something about “that night” really stuck out to me. What hooked me is the lyric “Just say my name, tell me I’m real, I’d sell my soul, if you made the deal,” it felt like a Bowie lyric to me. Georgi’s songwriting really took me to this deep level.”

Georgi has never been one to shy away from bold choices. Her musical journey began at five years old when she started crafting songs and performing with childhood bands. As the youngest of six children raised by a single mother, Georgi pursued higher education, enrolling in business school in New York before following her artistic calling to the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. During her acting studies, the COVID-19 pandemic pushed her classes online, leading Georgi back to her first love: music.

What began as a hobby quickly transformed into a full-fledged career. After taking her first DJ booking in 2021, Georgi left school to pursue music full-time. Her talent quickly earned her performances at iconic venues like The Brooklyn Mirage, AREA15 in Las Vegas, and Future Factory LA, racking up over 150 gigs in her first year alone. She’s shared stages with industry giants such as Eli & Fur, ARTBAT, Charlotte de Witte, The Chainsmokers, and Kaskade. In 2023, Georgi began opening for synth acts such as Boy Harsher, Sextile, Pixel Grips, and King Woman, further carving out her space in the electronic music scene.

Georgi's sound draws from synth pop, EBM, industrial, and techno influences, blending haunting melodies with cinematic synths and storytelling that lingers long after the music fades. Her songwriting process has landed her two top-line tracks with Revealed Records, amassing over six million streams. She also collaborated with Dave Ogilvie (Skinny Puppy, NIN) and Anthony Valcic (Front Line Assembly, Skinny Puppy) on Love After Dark, achieving a mix of industrial, darkwave production tied into her melancholic melodies and pop hooks. The album features official remixes from goth bands such as Shad Shadows, Aesthetic Perfection, and others.

"That Night" signals a new chapter for Georgi—one that sheds expectations and embraces artistic vulnerability. Love After Dark promises to dive deep into Georgi’s evolution as an artist, capturing the underrepresented synth-driven soundscapes she has always been drawn to.

"That Night" is more than a single—it’s a statement, a bold first step into Georgi's new era, and a taste of what’s to come.
