Fresh from a fantastic performance at London’s Hyde Park on 6th July, Seasick Steve is announcing the release of his new album. ‘Can U Cook?’ on September 28th through BMG Rights Management. Can U Cook? is available on CD, standard and limited edition clear vinyl, and all streaming and digital platforms. Physical pre-order is available now at www.seasicksteve.com . Steve will be hitting the road to play Can U Cook? live on an extensive European tour starting in October, with a full list of UK dates booked for November.

Can U Cook? sees Steve mixing up all of his much-loved ingredients to deliver a fresh new record that’s full of sunshine as well as being a good ol' Seasick mix of boogie, blues, rock, Americana and folk music. Produced and written by Seasick Steve, Can U Cook? is Steve’s ninth studio album and was mostly recorded in a converted ice house on the dock in Key West, Florida. Steve’s longtime drummer Dan Magnusson (a.k.a. Crazy Dan) is featured on the record, along with amazing playing contributions from guitarist Luther Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars). Luther is now part of the touring band for the forthcoming tour dates.

Steve explains, “Just seems there’s all kinds of sunshine and colours on this record. Maybe it’s because we made most of it down in Key West, Florida, or maybe it had somethin’ to do with the happy hours at Conch Republic? I swear!”

A sizzler of an album he can’t wait to release, Steve continues, “Can U Cook? was made down south, way down south, as far south as you can go and still have your boots in America. I luv it and i’m hoping y’all like it too”.

Steve heads out on the road across Europe this Autumn to play Can U Cook? live, and will be returning to the UK in November for his first full headline UK tour since 2015. With a clutch of fantastic new songs to hand and the rocking-est show anyone will see this year, Seasick Steve is ready and raring to go to deliver for his fans - old and new - wherever he plays around the world.
