Uk Prog Rock Wizards, Gandalf's Fist, have announced a special 10 year anniversary edition of their Debut album "The Master and the Monkey". The debut demo-come-album, turns 10 in January 2021, and to Celebrate a decade of Fist albums,the band has undertaken a complete re-imagining of the entire record to ensure it sits proudly alongside their latest releases!
Largely re-recorded from the ground up and featuring brand new artwork and dramatic narrative, "The (Re)Master and the Monkey" has developed into a fantastic new adventure from Gandalf's Fist, with the band have today beginning pre-orders in a range of formats included limited edition coloured Vinyl.
Having teased fans with the lead single "Stakes at Low Tide", the band have stated they are excited at the prospect of revisiting the a decade old release that has only up until now existed as an online digital demo. Guitarist/Vocalist, Dean Marsh stated:
"Luke and I originally knocked together The Master and the Monkey 10 years ago after a ridiculous discussion in the pub and we never really considered it as more than an oddity that got us started! The fact we seem to have mysteriously lost the original multi-track recordings in a bizarre gardening accident meant that this is a 100% brand new album for us and we were thrilled to discover some excellent songs hiding underneath 10 years of digital dust!"
The (Re)Master and the Monkey is available to pre-order in a range of formats via the Band's Official website and is set for a January 2021 release.
