Yorkshire newcomers FLESH PLANET are delighted to announce that their forthcoming debut EP, // first flesh, will be released on 27th March 2026. Debut single ‘Evelyn’ is out now and available to stream on all good digitals service providers, with an official video filmed at Sandstone Studios by Witch of The East and Amy Lee.
Commenting on the track, the band said: “We wanted ‘Evelyn’ to be a strong introduction to Flesh Planet. It captures a lot of what we’re doing—the melodic side, the heavier moments and how those elements collide. It’s all mixed together into something that feels honest and immediate—it's a snapshot of our sound.”
The band will play their first national tour dates this January/February 2026 on tour with Vukovi and Saint Agnes, with tickets on sale now, and will also support CKY front man Deron Miller’s 96 Bitter Beings project on 15th February 2026 in Milton Keynes (see below for listings).
Comprised of ex-Allusinlove members Damian Hughes (vocals, guitar, synths), Drey Pavlovic (guitars, production), Jemal Beau Malki (bass), and Connor Fisher-Atack (drums, vocals), Flesh Planet sees the quartet stepping into a bold and very natural amalgamation of their individual passions.
Blending elements of grunge, shoegaze, industrial, and electronic in an eclectic but accomplished new sonic direction, the band are currently holed up at their residential recording studio Chairworks (The Reytons, Kaiser Chiefs, Paul Heaton, Richard Hawley) in Castleford putting the finishing touches to the forthcoming EP.
Becoming disillusioned with the creative compromises they had to make as part of the music industry machine that swallowed them up and watered them down in a rush of hype, after splitting in 2019 the four piece remained prolific individual songwriters and music lifers, never losing touch with one another.
Damo launched Ackworth Guitar Setups with his business partner and spent time experimenting with a newfound love of electronic music, Drey threw himself into music production and touring as sound engineer for Arthur Brown, seasoned gamer Jemal started a successful Twitch stream hosting his own show, and Connor played as a session drummer in various touring projects.
On reuniting creatively, the band said: “We all missed jamming with each other, and because we still really resonated with Damo's old songs from the Allusondrugs days we wanted to get together and jam them, just for kicks. We sorted out a jam session, stuck a few cameras up in Drey's studio to capture it all, then we recorded the audio and released it as a one-off 'Allusondrugs throwback jams' on CD. We did a limited edition run of physicals on bandcamp that sold out straight away. That throwback jam basically sparked the idea for this new band.”
Marrying a neon-soaked cyberpunk/hacker aesthetic with the grunge and rock influences that marked their inception, the band are already focused on creating an in-depth multimedia universe around the project and delivering a world of rich artistic value to explore for fans both old and new.
