Today Czech psy-core metal masters, Dymytry, have unleashed their sixth but first international studio album, entitled Revolt, via powerhouse AFM Records. In support of their hotly anticipated record release, the band just recently shared a crushing new music video for their excellent metal cover version of Rockwell's classic "Somebody's Watching Me"!

After well over one thousand concerts in their home country and frenetically acclaimed shows in Europe, five successful records to date and a platinum award for their latest release Revolter, Dymytry has opted for a step that is unusual in two respects: Revolt, originally recorded exclusively in Czech, is the first Dymytry album that has also now been released in English language, as well as introducing their new, additional singer Alen "A.L." Ljubic.!

“We wanted to show to the world that there is great music in the Czech Republic, too,” bassist Artur "R2R" Mikhaylov recently explained. “We feel that our first English album is a very strong record, we really put everything into it.“

One of the album tracks, is the Rockwell classic "Somebody's Watching Me", and DYMYTRY delivers another cracker for the rock and metal clubs! As a special feature guest they got no one less than ex-Rage guitarist Victor Smolski on board, who presents a razor-sharp solo like no other! Watch DYMYTRY's new music clip right here:

"One day before we wrapped up the recordings for our album "Revolt”, we were listening to various songs we thought would be cool to record a cover of." Vocalist Alen reveals. "Rockwell’s iconic "Somebody’s Watching Me" was one of the songs I always wanted to do, mainly because of the huge chorus originally performed by Michael Jackson. When we listened to it together all of us loved the idea right away. We think it turned out great and we love the vibe and can’t wait to play it live, cause we feel our fans will appreciate it too! "

Revolt practically bursts with a high-voltage energy, strong melodies and powerful rhythms driven by mercilessly modern metal. There’s every sign of a storm brewing when Dymytry, featuring its three main songwriters Mikhaylov, Jiri “Dymo” Urban and Jan “Gorgy” Görgel (both guitar) as well as with exciting guest appearances by Joakim Lindbäck Eriksson of Brothers Of Metal and Victor Smolski, are presenting its successful Revolt album to an international audience for the first time. Dymytry will continue to work with vocalist Protheus in the Czech Republic and with Alen on the international market, especially since the band think highly of both frontmen. Says Mikhaylov: “We’re really happy with how Alen has recorded the vocals on the ‘Revolt’ album. He has a fantastic and versatile voice, a broad range and really good energy, a combination which has infused our material with a new dimension and lots of power. Also he’s very passionate about the band, so we’re grateful to have him on board. Protheus is also an awesome front man with a charismatic voice, plus he’s got a huge talent for writing lyrics with a lot of depth and hidden meaning. In addition, he’s a dab hand at leading the audience.”

Revolt was produced by Kristian "Kohle" Kohlmannslehner & Hans Koch at the Kohlekeller / Babylon Studios, and is out now as CD Digipak and exclusive Boxset via AFM Records. Purchase your album copy now at THIS LOCATION!
