Since their inception in 2010, Canadian electronic dance act DiRTY RADiO have built a dedicated worldwide fan base. Consisting of Shadi and Waspy, the duo have coined a distinctive sound for themselves, encompassing progressive Soul and R&B within their electronic inspired productions. Powered by infectious and uplifting vocals, the pair have been making a name for themselves ever since. November 2019 sees them join leading Canadian pop rock outfit Marianas Trench for a blockbuster UK tour and mainland European dates that takes in several Dutch and German cities.
DiRTY RADiO have enjoyed several successful releases that have seen them amass over 25 Million streams on Spotify alone, with a further 500,000 monthly listeners to add to their support.
Their recently released new album, ‘Pleasures’, was well received and contained several recently released singles, including ‘My Feelings’ which has been streamed almost 5 million times. The album further cemented the progress they have made since their inception, which has seen them release on influential labels such as Spinnin’, Majestic Casual and Diplo’s Mad Decent, all the while building their momentum around the world.
The formula DiRTY RADiO follow is a simple one; fun and infectious music aimed firmly at keeping the crowd moving and entertained. Allowing their influences to run directly through their music, the pair have been keen to let this continue, as is evident throughout their recent production, ‘All That I’ve Become’, which demonstrates the ability of the duo to fuse all their sound elements together.
The November tour will surely see them add to their growing support in the UK and mainland Europe. Commencing at Newcastle’s Riverside venue, the pair will then move throughout the UK taking in Manchester, Bath, Birmingham, Sheffield, Glasgow and London’s legendary Scala venue, with a final UK date in Brighton before heading to the Netherlands for a show in Amsterdam. Following this, they will be hitting four of Germany’s biggest cities Hamburg, Frankfurt and Munich before the final date in Cologne.
