Following the success of his own socially-distanced and live-streamed show in October, actor, writer and musician Alexander Gold aka Darling BOY has confirmed three carefully curated socially-distanced live shows at St. John on Bethnal Green.

Kicking off on Wednesday 16th December with Piney Gir, the trio of shows see Gold offering a platform to both emerging and established artists. As he explains: “After testing the waters with my own socially-distanced live-streamed show at the beautiful St John on Bethnal Green back in October - which sold out physically and was watched on every continent digitally, a complete first for me! - I’ve found myself on a bit of a mission to safely bring live performance back into a world that’s seen it have to stop for all but the highest-tier artists. The St John Sessions, as we’re calling them, is set up to offer a platform for both emerging and established artists to get back to doing what they do best.

With the beautiful backdrop of the Sir John Soane-designed St. John on Bethnal Green church we have a remarkable venue for these shows and are able to welcome a limited audience into the venue in a COVID-secure way. The shows will also be streamed via each artist’s YouTube channels.”
