On February 21, 2025, The Boy That Got Away releases their fourth album, Peacetime, marking a new era for the band. With a heavier, grittier, and more uncompromising sound, the album channels the raw power of stoner rock and the intensity of grunge.

The album’s first single, "Aesel", immediately grabs listeners with its dirty groove and explosive energy, while "Sleepwalker" takes a deeper dive into brooding stoner rock textures. "Homecoming", the third single, brings a strong lyrical focus, telling a story of resilience and karma, adding an emotional weight to the record.

Produced by Sebastian Wolff and the late great Tue Madsen, the album embraces authenticity and imperfection, creating a raw and immersive experience. The first two singles were recorded and produced by Sebastian Wolff, while the rest of the album was completed at Antfarm Studios under the guidance of Tue Madsen. The final mastering was handled by Ole Schneider at FREKVENS Mix and Mastering.

With Peacetime, The Boy That Got Away delivers a record that hits hard while staying deeply personal, exploring the chaos of the world and the struggles of individual ambition, all wrapped in massive riffs, dark grooves, and an unfiltered, live energy.
