The Danish progressive metal band DEADNATE is ready with their second album MOSAIC, which is set for release on March 27th 2026. The record is an honest and uncompromising work built on lived experience and musical foresight. On the album, DEADNATE develops their expression into something both more complex and more simple, while the themes revolve around personal introspection and reflections on our place in the world.
So far, the band has shared the two singles ‘He Who Pays’ and ‘Neon Burner’, and today sees the releases of the third single ‘Morass’ alongside a video created by the band themselves. DEADNATE elaborates on ‘Morass’:
“'Morass' is an atmospheric song that constantly surprises due to its unconventional structure. The main tapping riff takes an 80' shred technique and turns it into something completely different with no flashiness. The lyrics speak about how you can feel stuck and cold after you've experienced something painful.”
Recently, DEADNATE announced two Danish release concerts, at Radar in Aarhus on March 28 and at Stengade in Copenhagen on April 3 with both shows featuring Thus as special guests and Livedevil as support. In addition the band will play at the Ribe Metalfestival and more shows will be announced soon. Tickets for the two release shows are available HERE.
