Today marks the official release of Cyrene, the long-awaited new album by Attempt to Somebody’s Life, available now on all major digital and physical platforms via Wanikiya Record/Promotion!

Cyrene is a powerful, visceral, and urgent album.
An alternative metal work that digs deep into the wounds of our time, denouncing crimes committed against migrants, the exploitation of man by man, and the global indifference toward daily tragedies too often ignored.
The title references the Libyan region of Cyrenaica, a symbol and epicenter of these grave humanitarian injustices.

The sound is raw and unfiltered:
Drums and bass were recorded live to capture all the urgency and impact.
Heavy, gritty guitars build a sonic wall that supports every whispered or screamed word.
Ambient synths act as glimpses of memory and freedom.
Vocals swing between melancholic sweetness and desperate screams, reflecting anger, helplessness, and resilience.

AN ALBUM THAT LEAVES A MARK
The new release by Attempt to Somebody’s Life has been described as “a sonic protest as powerful as it is necessary.”
A major artistic evolution for a band already praised by critics for their debut EP Bridges/Latencies, known for blending Deftones-inspired atmospheres with the rage of Rage Against The Machine (IDIOTEQ Review).

A NEW ENTRY IN THE WANIKIYA RECORD/PROMOTION ROSTER
With Cyrene, the band officially joins the Wanikiya Record/Promotion family—one of the most active labels and press offices in the rock and metal scene—ready to support and promote this important project on both national and international stages.
Available now for streaming, download, and in physical format.
Listen now on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Bandcamp, and all major platforms
