Available everywhere now, the album features score music written by Matthew Puckett for director Eric Schaeffer's newest film that tells the story of a former songwriter who has lost her way and is searching for New meeting to her life. The album is the latest scoring effort from Puckett, following his most recent songwriting collaboration with critically-acclaimed singer-songwriter Garrison Starr (“Girl I Used To Be”). The project also continues a longstanding creative partnership for Puckett and Schaeffer who have worked together on many of Schaeffer’s films and TV series over the last decade. Originally from New York City, Matthew Puckett is a songwriter and composer based in Los Angeles, CA. Matthew has worked with bands and artists such as: Jeremy Jordan, Rogue Wave, The Mowgli's, Marsha Ambrosius, Shawn Hook, Kris Allen, Jessica Mitchell and Garrison Starr.
Matthew won a Peabody Award for his songs and score for the ABC series HOPKINS and was the recipient of the ASCAP Film/TV Award for his song ʻSkylineʻ; the theme to the critically-acclaimed ABC series NY MED. His unique film scores include: Caught (Anna Camp), Insatiable (NETFLIX), Gravity (STARZ) and Guidance (Dreamworks/AwesomenessTV). Matthew is the recipient of the new works commision from IAMA Theater Company in Los Angeles. His new musical REBEL GENIUS (book, music and lyrics) was a finalist for the Jonathan Larson Grant. Matthew is a member of the Dramatist’s Guild and is published by Kobalt Music.
