London-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Charlie J Perry, better known as Common Saints, today releases his evocative new EP, "Equinox".

A cinematic fusion of psychedelic textures, lush instrumentation, and deeply personal storytelling, "Equinox" explores the balance of light and dark—both in sound and in life. Featuring the standout singles “Honey” and “Firebird”, the EP has already sparked major interest and offers a bold step forward in Perry’s evolution as an artist.

“Equinox represents a meeting of the dark and the light—when the sun and the moon both appear in the sky,” says Perry. “It’s a reflection of a period in my life that’s been both tragic and transformative—the loss of my father, and the birth of the Common Saints live show. This EP marks growth, transition, and a turning point for me—and, I hope, for anyone listening.”

The release follows a major live milestone: a sold-out debut headline show at London’s OMEARA on May 14th, which sold out in just three days. It’s the latest chapter in a compelling shift from behind-the-scenes hitmaker to commanding frontman.

With over a decade of production and songwriting credits—including work with Jorja Smith (Project 11), Olivia Dean, Maverick Sabre, Lola Young, and K-pop icons BTS (“Singularity”)—Charlie J Perry is no newcomer. But as Common Saints, he is carving out a sound that is wholly his own: immersive, spiritual, and soaked in cinematic depth.

That sound was first fully realised in his debut solo album Cinema 3000—a 14-track odyssey that cemented his signature blend of rich sonics, ambient soul, and emotional honesty. With Equinox, Common Saints continues to ascend, proving that Perry is not just a producer behind the curtain—but a singular artist in full flight.
