This is it. The definition of an artist and the evolution of his sound. Conrank has delivered his sophomore album and it’s a beast! We present ‘This Simulation’s Breached’.

More than a collection of songs, this is a manifesto. Two years ago, when the dust had settled on ‘What’s a FKNG Conrank’, it was time to tell the world just what that is. The answer: a musician, a performer, a singer, a songwriter and a producer who has delivered a body of work that few would dare to dream of. The time has come for Conrank to grab the microphone and step out from behind the decks, spread his wings and take his music to the stratosphere. Writing and performing his own music and vocals, this is an exposé of Conrank the artist.

But it’s not just Conrank holding this together. Like his debut, he has brought in a melting pot of talent. Long-term friend and fellow producer Buku (no stranger to most) joins in on the forward-thinking ‘Chasing Devils’. The dubstep doesn’t stop there, the legend that is Figure appearing for the powerful ‘Karma Restored’ and Pendulum affiliate KJ Sawka drumming up a storm on ‘Sound Burial’.

Collaboration is the keystone of many a career, but every now and again two artists find a synergy that is unquestionable. Demonstrating just that, Charmae returns on ‘This Simulation’s Breached’ with another two perfect moments. ‘Heart of Fire’ borrows from those 2010-12 halcyon days, when Nero ruled the waves. That's then joined by a juxtaposition of sound, with the hauntingly beautiful ‘These Walls’.

Supplementing Conrank’s own vocal action, Wreckno and Gardella demonstrate why they’re causing so much excitement, ‘Reddit’ is a force of nature. To complete the story with one more contrast, dancehall legends Ward 21 step up to the plate for ‘21 Madness’. The drumstep-jungle hybrid is the perfect vehicle for one of the most distinctive acts from Kingston. Conrank joins their list of collaborators that includes Major Lazer, Shaun Paul, Bounty Killer and Capleton.

Of course, this doesn’t even begin to emphasise the real genius of this long player. Many of the album's key moments see Conrank as the frontman himself, ably supported on the guitar by close friend Gwen LaFitte. The soundscape to expect here is an unashamed ode to The Prodigy. Widely appreciated as The Beatles of dance music, Liam, Keith, Maxim and Leeroy’s timeless catalogue has started to spawn a generation of prodigies (just as the original Fab Four did over 50 years passed). Conrank is putting his hand up and proudly saying he’s here and he’s doing just that.

Bold, daring and unbound, he’s found his voice and it’s a roar. We present to you, ‘This Simulation’s Breached’!
