After a year of uncertainty, Nick Murphy addressed the future’s ambivalence head-on with his highly acclaimed single “Whatever Tomorrow.” In support on the emphatic return of the Chet Faker project comes a remix of the highest calibre. Soulwax take hold of “Whatever Tomorrow” and run it into a downtempo exploration.

Nick Murphy on the remix “I think I like it better than mine.”
Soulwax then countered; “We agree, we think our version is better ;).”

Since 1995, David and Stephen Dewaele have consistently pushed the boundaries of music into a new and innovative territory by diversifying into many different guises. For this iteration, Soulwax do what they do best in a total re-imagining of the single. Their remix unfolds into an incredible atmosphere-building cut held true by a distinctively Soulwax bass-line paired with Murphy's vocal. When receiving the remix Murphy said ‘“I think I like it better than mine”. The combination of two artists known for their unique pallets has culminated in a stunning new offering destined for great things.
