Chaos Path, the German band that combines the best of Black Metal, Oldschool Thrash Metal, and Heavy Metal, is excited to announce the CD release of their previously only available on vinyl EP "The Awakening" and their debut album "Downfall", both of which feature a powerful, authentic, and honest production.
In addition to the two releases, the CD includes three unreleased live tracks and a 16-page booklet. The exclusive cover artwork for the CD version perfectly captures the essence of Chaos Path's unique sound and style.
Chaos Path's sound is a blend of Nordic Melodic Death/Black Metal and German Thrash Metal, creating a distinctive and impressive brew that can only be described as Chaos Path. The band's focus on "Reduced to the Max" allows them to deliver an authentic and honest sound that is both powerful and captivating.
Chaos Path has been an active part of the metal scene in and around Kassel, as well as the metal underground in general, since their formation in 2016. They have released several EPs and LPs, including "The Awakening" in March 2018 and "Downfall" in September 2019.
The band has undergone some changes in 2020/21, with Soul Oblitarator joining as the new drummer and Nocturnal Reaper becoming the guitarist. The Doom Lord (Bass) also joined the band in November. Currently, Chaos Path is working on their highly anticipated second album, which will be released in all formats on Golden Core/ZYX.
