Bugle, one of Jamaica's most prolific singers and songwriters, has premiered the brand new video for "Life Savior (feat. Noah Powa and Norman Alexander)" on urban contemporary music channel BET Jams. The epic collaboration is the latest effort from the reggae artist's 2019 critically-acclaimed Picture Perfect album (An9ted Entertainment / VPAL Music).

Filmed throughout the metropolises of Kingston, Jamaica, and New York City, the stylish video features dancehall star Noah Powa and his lyrical cohort Bugle trading verses that take the audience on a concise, yet riveting journey of their musical trials and triumphs. The song's monstrously inspirational hook, sung by promising newcomer Norman Alexander, is the perfect complement to the stunning cinematic backdrop of the NYC skyline, as viewed from the waterfront and rooftops of Brooklyn. The "Life Savior" video was produced and directed by NYC-based Kenny Gray and Troublesum, respectively.

Bugle:

The concept of the video follows the lyrics of the song. It was a joy to work with Noah Powa -- he is more than just an artist to me -- he is a friend and he's also family. Working with Norman Alexander for the first time was also a great joy -- very humble soul... great youth... talented artist. Hoping people enjoy the music video as much as they enjoy the song. People can have a deeper insight on a lot of our upbringings, because sometimes people don't really understand or they make assumptions. It's good to make them see some of what you gone through and where you reach now, and see how whatever you're doing can take you there. Doesn't matter what field you inna, as long as you're alive, you have a journey.

Noah Powa:

The song began with me and the producer, LMR Pro, and I thought it was best fitting for Bugle. I have been a fan, and respect his artistry. He told a piece of his story that many were unaware of, as did I. Norman Alexander's vocals help to paint the picture perfectly.

Norman Alexander:

Working with Noah and Bugle was very inspiring. The energy that Noah brings to a session is unmatched, and Bugle's skills as a lyricist and storyteller make him a songwriting savant. The experience is one I will never forget.

LMR Pro:

I am a fan of both artists. Noah and I collaborate frequently, and when we created the record and thought who to present it to, we knew it was a perfect fit for Bugle. The authenticity in the lyrics and delivery is what made the record work.
