Since the announcement of her upcoming 3rd EP, State I'm In, Bryony Williams has released two singles, I Can Be and Knockin', both equally fierce and empowering to give fans a taste of what's to come. With the 3rd and final single from the EP, Dive, coming out on October 2nd, the piano driven track is the darkest and most exposed track on the EP, if not in her entire back catalog. The single is also graced with the feature of Matt Allwright, of the BBCs The One Show, on Slide Guitar.

Discussing the upcoming single and opening track the EP, Bryony states: “Dive was the first song I wrote after returning home from my 3-month backpacking world adventure, which is just as surprising to me about where this solemnness manifests? I think Dive is an ode to my other track, Silhouette. There are lyrical comparisons and a certain solitude. Yet, rather than being directed towards one person in mind, I think Dive delves deeper than that; where instead of saying goodbye to somebody else, perhaps I’m saying goodbye to my old self, “oh how I better myself."

She goes on to add: "I wanted to keep the arrangement super sparse and delicate, with the grand piano paving the way, accompanied by 4-year old violin strings, Apparat-inspired guitar, the rustle of a teaspoon, and Matt Allwright’s ebbing pedal steel. This is my most exposing work yet. I’ve dived in head first; will you dive in after me?"

The EP, State I'm In, will be released via Beth Shalom Records on October 30th on Limited Edition Coloured Vinyl, which will be accompanied by Bryony's critically acclaimed 2018 EP, Conscious.
