We are beyond thrilled to announce the release of SednA’s upcoming album ‘The Man Behind The Sun’, a 33-minute-long sonic opus delving deep into the hazes of Black Metal, Post Rock and Doom. In their third full-length album in ten years, SednA have channeled all their strongest sentiments to create their most crushing effort to date, solemn and uplifting.

Release date is set for September 13th via Spikerot Records. The album will be available in:

  • Handmade Black Velvet Box Set, limited to 60 copies, including a 6-panel digipak, fold-out poster, patch and sticker
  • CD digipak
  • Digital

Recorded and mixed by Enrico Baraldi (Ornaments) and mastered by Lorenzo Stecconi (Lento, Ufomammut) who is also responsible for the drony guitars and synths over the course of the song. Another guest appearance to report is the one of Benjamin Guerry from The Great Old Ones, contributing on the screaming layers. Cover artwork by Samuele Innocenti of the Italian band O.

The band’s mastermind Alex Crisafulli said “This album marks a transition for SednA. It’s a rite of passage towards a new era, the end before a new zero point. We are very proud and honored to share this key moment with Spikerot Records, because they are trusting our possibilities and they truly believe in this release, giving us the opportunity to make it great as we’ve always desired. ‘The Man Behind The Sun’ will be the last chapter of this journey into space before delving into new galaxies”.
