Norwegian black metal legends MAYHEM will perform at this year's Damnation. Following a headline set at London's sold-out Incineration Festival, they will return to UK shores on Saturday, November 2, to play the main stage at Leeds University Union alongside OPETH.

Also making their debuts at this year's event are Icelandic rockers THE VINTAGE CARAVAN, fellow Norwegian black metallers GAAHLS WYRD, American doom/sludge outfit INTER ARMA, enigmatic synthwave duo GOSTand Belgium death metallers CARNATION.

The six new additions bolster a four-stage bill which already boast the likes of Primordial, Venom Prison, Blood Red Throne, Birds In Row, Jo Quail and Imperial Triumphant. Inter Arma commented: "I’ll be damned, we’re playing Damnation! Damn."

Festival organiser Gavin McInally said: "In any other year, we'd be delighted to have Mayhem headline Damnation, so to have them play and then Opeth to follow is quite incredible.

"Debuts by The Vintage Caravan, Ghaals Wyrd, Inter Arma, Gost and Carnation not only highlight our efforts to keep our line-ups fresh after 14 years, but the diversity and depth Damnation has become renowned for. And there's still plenty more to come..."

The line up for Damnation Festival 2019 so far is: Opeth, Mayhem, Primordial, Ghaals Wyrd, Venom Prison, The Vintage Caravan, Blood Red Throne, Inter Arma, Birds In Row, Lord Dying, Jo Quail, Imperial Triumphant, Carnation, Voices, Wheel, Alunah, Dawn Ray'd, and Godeater.
