The iconic duo of Benja and Glitter Party return today with a brand new collaboration- “Two Fishes”. A Beatles-esque ballad soaked in sunny nostalgia, produced by Braden Sauader (Luna Li, BadBadNotGood), this track fits perfectly on a playlist to lounge in a park with a cold beverage and good friends. The accompanying video is directed by Sameer Cash and follows the pair on a summer outing.

“There’s some people in life who you meet, and it feels like you’ve known them forever. Almost like the adventures you’ve experienced together in this life have happened before. How beautiful would it be if, in every life you’ve lived, you’ve found this person, like even way back in history when we were fishes. Call it fate, call it love, call it whatever you like. Well that’s what this song is about” – Benja & Glitter Party

“Two Fishes” follows the pairs’ infectious single “Bloom” which has been featured in CBC’s Top 20 and hit over 300K streams on Spotify. Separately Benja and Glitter Party have been operating on a number of magnetic frequencies. Benja’s dexterity takes many forms: he produced K’Naan’s Grammy Award winning single “Refugee and backed up Bad Bad Not Good, Jonah Yano and Jerry (formerly Odd Future’s Hodgy) as well as collaborating with Jonah Yano, Clairo and K’Naan. Glitter Party is the solo project of Toronto’s Sam Cohen. Sam writes, records and mixes his songs at home in his bedroom studio, where he has stock piled an impressive array of old synthesizers, unique guitars, and dusty tape machines.

“Two Fishes” is out now via Good People Record Co / Stay Level Records.
