Gregory Page is a notable singer/songwriter, the son of a travelling Armenian pop star and an Irish mother who was the lead singer/saxophone player in one of Britain's first ever all-girl groups, The Beat-Chics, who toured with a band many of you may be familiar with called, The Beatles….. Given that kind of heritage it's a small surprise that Gregory followed in their musical footsteps!
Gregory was born in North London, but the family moved to America when Gregory was just a child and musically speaking, Gregory says that he has been trying to return to his roots of Enfield ever since.
Following the success of Gregory’s single release ‘Bon Voyage Mon Cheri’ which made the top 10 commercial radio charts in The Netherlands in the Summer 2013 (released on V2 Records),and with almost thirty albums under his belt to date, Page has not been idle in recent decades. In 2020, he released ‘One Hell Of A Memory’ with the singer/songwriter Jason Mraz and he is now back with his latest offering in the form of ‘The World’s Gone Mad’ which is the first single to be released from his upcoming album.
‘The World’s Gone Mad’ is a strikingly beautiful track with nostalgic vibes throughout courtesy of the vintage instruments. Page’s vocals whilst crystal clear are soporific in nature, having the soothing tone of a lullaby which belies the truth of the story being depicted. It's a work of art for the listener to lose themselves in for a while, to stop and take stock of what’s really important in this crazy game we call life.
Indeed, Page has said of the track: “The World’s Gone Mad” attempts to make sense of the nonsense pervading daily life in these confounding times. Produced by myself and Jason Mraz, this song was composed on an 1980’s Omnichord and gives us directions to the coordinates of the high-speed future.”

Page has commented of the album: “On this album we abandoned our trusty acoustic guitars and replaced them with the Omnichord (which I wrote all the tunes on) and analog synths. It’s a concept album. The struggle to feel at ease in the modern world in which most of the time I feel lost. The album is produced by myself & my longtime friend Jason Mraz. All the keyboards and retro synths on the album are played by Jason. It’s a record that tells My Story - a story that hasn’t yet been told there and has a lot of humorous chapters.”
