Warp Records and Battles are excited to announce an open-source album remix project for the band’s latest LP, Juice B Crypts: https://rmx.bttls.com

Synth samples, melodies, drums, and other sounds from across the album have been broken down and reassigned in an interactive Juice B Crypts subway map, created originally as an illustrated representation of the album’s writing & recording process. The sounds are open and free, now available to be downloaded, sampled, stretched, distorted and remixed however fans might like.

Battles want to hear what you come up with! All styles welcome, no rules! We’ll be running a competition via Metapop, where fans can submit their remixes directly to the band, who will drop in to give feedback at points throughout the process. In the end, a few winners will be chosen and prizes will be given out by Native Instruments, Warp, and Battles.

Juice B Crypts was released in fall 2019 to critical acclaim and features Jon Anderson (of Yes), Shabazz Palaces, Tune-Yards and more. Listen back here: https://battles.ffm.to/juicebcrypts
