Hard rock band Bastion Rose is set to release their new single, "Atlas Slumbers," on Friday, October 3rd. The powerful new track will serve as a preview of their highly anticipated full-length debut album, Traces of Gold, which will be available everywhere on Friday, November 7th. Both the album and single were produced by three-time Grammy-winner David Bottrill (Tool, Rush, Godsmack, Mastodon, Coheed and Cambria, Muse).

“Atlas Slumbers” tackles a profound concept, reimagining the Greek myth of Atlas. The song's narrative follows a weary Atlas as he makes the ultimate choice to abandon his burden and let the world fall. The lyrics explore the struggle of shouldering immense weight and the ultimate liberation found in letting go. With powerful riffs and a cathartic build, the song is a compelling blend of classic rock's darker angels and the modern intensity of post-grunge and metal.

Traces of Gold is a testament to resilience, transforming personal adversity into a powerful, authentic, and emotionally charged musical experience. The album builds on the success of the band's debut EP, Fade to Blue, which has garnered over a million streams, as well as previously released singles from the album, "Humble Me," "Cinnamon Fire," and "Garden of Stone."

Beyond the music, Bastion Rose creates professional, conceptual short films for all of their videos, exploring themes of love and fear, chaos and seduction, and life and death.
