“Vibe-Icide” is a live staple for the band and garnered airplay and the “Coolest Song in the World” title on SiriusXM’s Underground Garage. “It’s a song that always feels very good live, so we wanted to include it,” shares bassist Mike Staub. “Its success on Sirius XM has also made it a must-play for us!”
“Bad Mary makes you want to pump your fist and shake your ass. ‘Vibe-Icide’ sets the tone with its hard punk edge sound, gritty guitars, and groovy bassline.” – I’m Music Magazine
The song and video lead up to the full release of Live on Long Island—a raucous 16-track collection capturing the raw, electrifying stage presence that has earned the band a cult following. “We’ve always felt that our live performance is the true Bad Mary experience,” says Staub. “We love interacting with the crowd and feeding off their energy. Live on Long Island really captures that.”
The album spans Bad Mary’s entire catalog, featuring live cuts from Killing Dinosaurs (2015), We Could Have Saved the World (2016), Better Days (2014), Glitter Bomb (2017), Trash & Glamour (2023), The Return of Space Girl (2019), and Mega Bad Disaster Party (2024). It also includes a fiery cover of Queen’s “Tie Your Mother Down” from their Rock and Roll Classics Vol. 7 EP (2022).
Beyond the live release, Bad Mary is currently working on a brand-new studio album and recently launched their podcast, Are You With The Band?, now streaming on all major platforms.
