Last month prog rock band Teramaze announced that their new album Are We Soldiers will be released on 21 June 2019 via Mascot Label Group. To celebrate the announcement the Australian band released first new song “Weight Of Humanity”. Now one week before release the band released two more songs; 'Fight Or Flight' and 'From Saviour To Assasin'.
On Fight Or Flight Dean says: " Fight Or Flight really feels like the song that musically bridges the gap between our previous album Her Halo and Are We Soldiers. It’s a song that refers to a physiological reaction that occurs in the presence of something that is terrifying, either mentally or physically and can be related to many different situations in our lives. I think this is one of Brett Rerekura’s greatest vocal performances and I really enjoy the lead guitar like guitar riffs that weave in and out of the track. I really enjoy this song for the fact it doesn’t have a chorus that repeats through out the song, its constant progression is what makes this one of the band's favorite songs and we can’t wait to play this song live."
And about 'From Saviour To Assasin': "From Saviour to Assassin was a song I wrote long before Her Halo, it actually started out as a Guitar Riff demo for a Seymour Duncan pickups video and the response I got on the video was overwhelming, so we turned it into a song that fit perfectly onto Are We Soldiers. The best part of the song for me is playing the solo in unison with Chris Zoupa, it's been a while since I've had a 2nd guitarist to shred along side and Chris does an amazing job! Wayne once again has done an awesome job at capturing the essence of the track with the slightly 80's retro theme video clip. We hope you enjoy the video for From Saviour to Assassin."
