German death metal project APHRODIA OKKULTA have just released "The Relentless Power of a Crushing Tide", built on a collaboration between musicians from across Europe.
The Relentless Power of a Crushing Tide is the latest work from Aphrodia Okkulta, brought to life by an international lineup of musicians. The song features Topias Jokipii (Finland) on vocals, delivering deep and intense growls, while Joylin (Romania) contributes a viola section that adds a striking melodic contrast. The track opens with an atmospheric intro performed by Vlatios (Switzerland), setting the tone before the full force of the song unfolds.
At the core of the project is Alexander Müller (Germany), who handled songwriting, production, and most of the instrumentation. The song was mixed and mastered by Kai Stahlenberg at Kohlekeller Studio (Germany), a longtime collaborator of Aphrodia Okkulta. The recording process took place across multiple locations, with the basic instrumentals laid down on the island of Rügen, Germany, while other elements were recorded remotely by the contributing musicians in their respective countries.
