Acclaimed musician Anthony Anzaldo, better known as Anthony Family, continues his deeply personal sonic journey with the release of his latest single, "101 South." This new track serves as a poignant counterpoint to his previous release, "101 North," further exploring themes of nostalgia, longing, and the emotional landscapes we navigate through life’s highways.

The release of "101 South" follows the recent unveiling of two additional tracks: the original "Sex In The Car" and a captivating cover of Toni Braxton’s "Another Sad Love Song." These releases affirm Anzaldo’s ability to blend personal storytelling with a lush, textured sonic palette.

With "101 South," Anthony Family continues to carve out his own space—one where introspection meets melody, and where every note feels like a drive through the echoes of memory.

Over the years, Anzaldo's band Ceremony have explored in post-punk, indie rock, new wave, hardcore and beyond. For Anzaldo, in 2024, highly personal, emotionally complex sophisti-pop is the order of the day and is a fascinating (re)introduction to Anzaldo as an artist on their own terms.
