Häxen keeps the raw, abrasive backbone that defined Abraxas, but pushes further into a more layered and inward-looking take on black metal. The songwriting leans on heavy blast beats and sharp, melodic riffing, with a darker, more epic sense of atmosphere running through the record. Total playing time is 43 minutes.
