Xavier Rudd returns with the euphoric new single “Walk Away,” his first new material since 2015. Poignant and yet uplifting, it is one of Xavier's most powerful songs to date – seamlessly weaving philosophy and music

roduced by Chris Bond (Ben Howard, Tom Speight) and mixed by Tim Palmer(Pearl Jam, David Bowie, U2), “Walk Away” is taken from Xavier’s forthcoming new album Storm Boy, which showcases his incomparable songwriting craftsmanship and is an impressive addition to his ever-growing legacy.

To support the forthcoming album, Xavier has announced European and North American tours for 2018. Speaking about this new record and touring plans, Xavier says, “I am proud of my new music and I’m excited to bring it to the people. Blessed again to be playing shows this year in so many countries around this magical planet.”

In 2017, Xavier played his largest European tour to-date, performing 28 shows over 34 days to more than 30,000 people. Since the release of his last studio album, 2012’s Spirit Bird, Xavier has performed at some of Europe’s most popular festivals such as Rock Werchter, Hurricane & Southside, Down The Rabbit Hole, Gurten Festival, etc. Impressively, he has also headlined and sold out each of the following established venues twice over: Electric Ballroom (London), Melkweg (Amsterdam), Tivoli Vredenburg (Utrecht), and Ancienne Belgique (Brussels).

“Follow The Sun” from Spirit Bird became his biggest hit in the Netherlands, entering high up on national radio charts and added on numerous prominent Spotify charts & playlists.

Storm Boy will be released this year, more details very soon. This is going to be a year that Xavier Rudd fans will never forget.
