Na het succes van “Can’t Rely On You” en de fantastiche samenwerking met Sigma komt Paloma Faith met een nieuwe single.
“Ready For The Good Life” werd als bonus track toegevoegd aan de re-issue van ‘A Perfect Contradiction’. De track werd geproduced door Klas Åhlund, die al eerder samenwerkte met Eagle-Eye Cherry, Robyn, Tove Lo, Madonna, Kylie Minogue,..
Idolator zei het volgende over de track: “The song is a funky jam that makes good use of Paloma’s soulful pipes while bombastic instrumentation consisting of drums, a piano and horns carry the whole thing to giddy heights”
