Having been excited with the results of their recording sessions at Fish Factory Studios, London in September 2013 Will and The People returned to the studio in January 2014 to record a handful of brand new songs. 'Shakey Ground' was one of them and an obvious single choice.
'Shakey Ground' was written by Will Rendle and John Feldman (Goldfinger/The Used) on a flying visit to L.A last summer and is a particularly catchy and up-beat track but with a dark and ominous undertone to the otherwise very optimistic and up-tempo feel. The song retains Will and the People’s ability to mix genres effortlessly, but has a pop sensibility and is a big crowd pleaser at their live shows.
