Scottish experimental songstress MALKA will release her brand new album Ratatatat tomorrow (Oct 20th) through Tantrum Records. Ratatatat is a thoughtful album, which addresses the world’s current political climate with a message of positivity embedded within her feel-good, worldly pop sounds.

The album has been met with a great early response from critics, with the likes of The Sun in Scotland saying, “MALKA’s new hook-laden rhythmic pop album Ratatatat is a delightful listen.” The record is also getting lots of support from BBC 6Music, with Chris Hawkins and Lauren Laverne big fans of the singer at the station. The latter played latest single 'No No No' again on her show this morning.

Ratatatat also features the acclaimed singles ‘Breakout’, ‘Fell For You’ and ‘Falling’, which have achieved critical acclaim from the likes of The Independent, Drowned In Sound, Line Of Best Fit and more.

  • "Quirky, cute, original and clever… the true definition of indie-pop" – Chris Hawkins, BBC 6Music
  • “’Combines the effervescent eclecticism of tUnE-yArDs with her own radio-friendly pop sensibilities.” – Line Of Best Fit
