A prolific artist in every medium she touches, Lauren Ruth Ward has been a hairstylist for 9 years, while at the same time shifting her creative focus to her music in partnership with her co-writer and guitarist Eduardo Rivera. On her new album, Well, Hell, out on February 9th via Weekday Records, Lauren’s arresting voice slices through the classic rock instrumentation delivered through the perfect modern filter by her band. You can buy her debut album, a psych-blues record with 60s rock'n'roll nuances.

To celebrate the album’s release, the band shared a brand new video for album trackSheet Stains today. Of the video Ward explains, "Sheet Stains" helps me laugh about my loneliness. I've only spent about 70 days with my partner in the last 20 months. After a night of successfully distracting myself from my loneliness, I wake up and realize, oh yeah, she still not here and everything around me reminds me of her. It’s a painful feeling and the only solution is to deal. It's the life of dating a touring artist. The hardest is when we're both on tour. For "Sheet Stains" music video, I wanted to create that: what day of the week is it? -- lost in the sauce -- missing my love/normalcy -- kind a day."

Previously, Lauren had premiered a video for lead single "Sideways", of which she says "Sideways is an anthem for those who get lost while acclimating to a new life. Whether it's intentional or unintentional, you gotta roll with it but not let the people walking faster than you distract you."
