  • “With an entrance like this, we have a feeling that Harlea is here to stay.” — The Line Of Best Fit
  • “A smashing debut” — Hillydilly

Birmingham born, North London raised Harlea is sharing her new single ‘You Don’t Get It’ which marries together crushing blues-inflected guitar work, with infectious pop-tinged vocal melodies. 'You Don’t Get It’ is a timeless, assured, sassy rock track that showcases Harlea’s sultry vocals as well as her songwriting ability. ‘You Don’t Get It’ is out now via 0E0E.

Sparkling evidence that Harlea has truly found her voice, the new track - inspired by “the overt power of being a woman” is a ferocious affair, yet finely balanced in its delivery. Harlea went on to say this about the new single: "It's about living life on your terms and being true to yourself. You do what you want, when you want and how you want. It is defiant of a male world in which women are expected to fit. You either fit her world, her needs, her desires or you don't get her.”

Harlea made quite the entrance with her debut release, 'Miss Me', out Autumn 2016. The song quietly ticked up over 1⁄2 million streams across Spotify and SoundCloud, and also received over a thousand radio plays across the global airwaves, including Radio 1 (key support from Phil Taggart), Flux (Germany) and RTE (Ireland) amongst others. NME tipped her for 2017 and billed her debut as “a formidable and pulsating entrance”, and The Line Of Best Fit said she made “an explosive entrance”.

Harlea's thinking of 2017, and she’s also thinking of 2018. She’s in it for the long- haul, not the quick fix.
